Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. Her early professional career saw her perform with many opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions, performing the traditional Latin American Music. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor, her love of music and art keeps her active in a variety of projects. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to have the opportunity to share with others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
